WORK FROM HOME
Baby Boomers. Hi Frank here and welcome to my Website. I hope you find it useful and informative.
WORK FROM HOME
I will be adding blogs for senors on travel, vacation spots, health, and income opportunities. I want to add useful information that we can all use, weather we are retired or planning to retire.
I started this website, babyboomersinterests.com, to try and give you some useful information about retirement, work from home, work from home jobs, and work from home business.
Start an Internet Business. Check out this link for a couple of reviews that might help.
There are online jobs available from numerous companies around the country. Anything you want to sell for one of the companies, soap, tires, electronics, you name it, it can be sold from home. Some companies pay commission and some companies pay on production.
Stuffing envelopes for different companies. Servicing accounts, accounting jobs, consultant jobs. You can do all of these jobs at home.
Start your own online business and work for your self. No body to answer to but you. Set your own hours and time schedule. Don’t have to dress for work. Working at home online part time or full time.
BABY BOOMERS ABOUT TO RETIRE
Well. Getting ready to retire but not wanting to sit around and watch Soap Box Dramas all day. I want to do something. I am not dead yet. I am still active and productive and probably have another 20 years of work if I want to stay working. Check out http://babyboomersinterests.com/my-review and let me know what you think.
The stock market tanked and my 401K just about dissolved. If I could just work a little to supplement my retirement income it would help a lot.
START A NEW CAREER
Work as a consultant in the field I know. Set up advertising campaigns for several different companies, design and build websites for customers. Start here and sign up for Internet Training and a FREE functional website’ Hey guy’s.
Just because you have retired doesn’t mean the world stops. It doesn’t for me. I stay active beyond working on my websites. I raise Boar goats and take care of my vegetable garden on 5 acres here in Central Texas.
Believe me, grass is still growing and I have to mow every other day or it will get away from you real quick. I like to go fishing sometimes and go during the week. Why? Not as busy on the lakes during the week.
Here is a statistic I thought would interest you.
How many people buy online? If you are reluctant to start an online business remember this. There is plenty of room for people to sell online. I guarantee you the Internet will NEVER get saturated.
Listen to this:
DAILY: 200-MILLION people are buying online WORLD WIDE—
GEE! Sounds saturated doesn’t it?
MONTHLY: IMAGINE THIS—3 BILLION WORLD WIDE are buying online.
Mind Boggling isn’t it?
Gosh! Is there room for me?
YOU BETTER BELIEVE THERE IS BOYS AND GIRLS.
THE WORLD IS YOUR “OYSTER”, Now reach out and grab it.
TIPS FOR HOW TO WORK FROM HOME
Just what are the benefits of working at home?
Think about it. It doesn’t matter weather you are in business for your self or still working for your job at home. One obvious benefit is: transportation cost. None. No work cloths. No lunch money. No boss. Flexible schedule. Just a few benefits you might be interested in.
THINGS TO THINK ABOUT
OK. Sounds great right? Things to think about. Understanding the challenges of working at home and drawing a line between work and home life.
Try to set up a fixed schedule to go by as much as possible. Start by scheduling times to handle phone calls, customer meetings, and definite work hours so people will know your schedule. Be sure to get back to clients as soon as possible when they call.
WORK LIFE BALANCE
This is probably one of the most challenging parts of work from home businesses. Family members must understand that you cannot be disturbed during business hours and that your office and desk cannot be used by anyone else.
Keeping these boundaries between home life and business is important. Tell friends and neighbors about your schedule and let them know about your business hours.
SOME GUIDELINES AND ADVICE
Work at home for your employer will not make you rich. This is like the work place and you probably will make an average income like most people.
1. But the benefits are that you don’t have the cost of transportation, no child care, no work cloths or lunches. With no other out of pocket expenses then, you are making more money in the long run. If retired there is the extra income to supplement your retirement money.
2. Start out kind of slow and easy to gain more experience and put money back into your business.
3. Use any free advertising and the internet as much as you can.
4. Get ideas from business associates and friends that are in the same or similar business.
These are just a few things to look into when thinking about working from home, either for yourself or your employer.
I chose to work through an internet training school to learn about starting my own business and working from home.
I didn’t want to go back to work with a structured work schedule, clothes, time to be at work and time to punch out and most of all have another BOSS.
I thrive on being busy and really do enjoy working for myself.
